Where is the Pancasila are
now? Pancasila has been lost? The
rise of radicalism and violence in the name of tribe, religion, race, culture
and increasingly chronic corruption is believed by some to be caused by the
increasingly forgotten and the Pancasila as the state ideology.
Order of reforms,
raises the euphoria at the time, and the symbols of the new order is considered
as a latent threat that must be landfilled, and Pancasila marginalized
participate in the dialectics of national life. Pancasila
was in the national education eroded its existence. Pancasila
Moral Education (PMP), as a subject changed its name to Citizenship Education
(PKN) without any frills Pancasila her.
However, when
reforms fail to fulfill their obsession with the majority of the people in the
form of welfare and security, now many people miss the days when the new order.
Community
getting fed up with violence in the media spectacle clad race, ethnicity,
religion, and culture. Degradation
of the values of the national character has been so sharply implicated in the
majority of our society. Just
look at the TV footage, clashes between villages, intertribal warfare, fighting

screen.
Then where did
the original character of this nation? Character
of Indonesia's population noble character, helpful, welcoming, courtesy,
tolerance, and religious has been swallowed by the earth? Leaving
the country is constantly in a state losing its original character will make
the country increasingly worse, if not the country will disintegrate. There
should be a massive movement to grow back the original character of this nation
are beginning to lose eroded by age eddies.
In the current
educational curricula heavily socialized insertion (integration) the character
of the nation in all subjects at school. The
world of education is still seen as the most effective medium to regrow
character of the nation is slowly but surely being lost in the depths of the
country people. Then,
if the method is quite effective renewal of the nation's character through the
integration of all the subjects taught begin primary education up to senior
secondary?
Why not choose
the way of reviving the nation's cultural values through civic education
format returns to the Pancasila moral education? According

Key to the success
of cultivation of the values, including the values of Pancasila in schools is
contextual learning and real experience. Learners
need to sample the real action, not verbal theories are not facts. School
is a miniature society which must be consistent with the real world outside of
school. When
learners are taught in school culture queued through direct experience, but
outside of school when they do not see the culture adopted by the majority of
society, the assessment values in the school will be in vain.
Finally, the
authors hope the desire to restore Pancasila education in schools by some
people, studied by the Ministry of Education. Do

all hope this country still remains sturdy upright with its original character,
if it can be realized with Pancasila returns to school, why not? Hopefully.
